I strive to provide everyone with a validating space as they gain the needed skills to empower themselves. I deeply honor the bravery it takes to reach out for help, and I am willing to assist you with any struggle, regardless of how large or small it seems. I take an interpersonal, strength-based approach to therapy and believe strongly in the power of vulnerability and its ability to increase connection to self and others.

I possess a strong passion for perinatal mental health. Not only do I have lived experience as a mother, but I also am a certified perinatal/postpartum mental health provider through Postpartum Support International. I greatly enjoy meeting with individuals on any step of their parenting journey, from infertility and pregnancy loss, to postpartum and parenting concerns. Additionally, I am a certified ADHD clinical services provider and work with individuals to overcome their executive function challenges with compassion and evidenced-based strategies. I also have experience with a variety of other topics such as helping individuals heal their relationships with their bodies and food, finding peace following grief and loss, empowerment of self through trauma informed work, overcoming unhealthy interpersonal relationships, and learning to better manage anxiety and mood disorders.

I grew up in Idaho, and as part of my undergraduate studies, earned a Minor of Music. I  believe in the therapeutic benefit of animals and value spending time with my cat and dog. In my spare time, I love to write, do yoga, strength train, and explore outdoors with my husband and two boys.

Annie Mason, CMHC

Hello! My name is Annie. I am a Clinical Mental Health Counselor with over two decades of experience in the field, having been actively involved since 2002. I am passionate about supporting individuals through life’s challenges, helping them navigate difficult times and ultimately find joy and fulfillment. Whether working with children or adults my goal is to create a compassionate and empowering environment for those I work with. I believe in the power of connection and personal growth and I’m committed to walking alongside my clients as they explore their strengths and potential.

Therapeutic Approach & Focus

I specialize in supporting individuals navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, trauma and stress. My approach is grounded in humanistic and holistic principles, emphasizing the whole person and their unique life experiences. I draw from a variety of therapeutic modalities to tailor treatment to the needs of each client, including:

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT): Helping clients challenge and change negative thought patterns and behaviors to foster healthier mindsets.
  • Narrative Therapy: Empowering individuals to rewrite their stories and reclaim their sense of agency in life.
  • Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT): Enhancing emotional regulation, mindfulness and interpersonal skills to manage distress and build resilience.
  • Internal Family Systems (IFS): Working with the different “parts” of the self to promote inner harmony and healing.

Additionally, I am a Certified Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapist, integrating ketamine-assisted therapy to support deep healing for those facing complex trauma, depression, or other treatment-resistant conditions.

I am a trauma-informed therapist. I create a safe, inclusive space for individuals of all backgrounds, including being affirming and supportive of the LGBTQIA+ community. My goal is to help you not only address immediate challenges but also discover deeper sources of strength, resilience and well-being.

Let’s work together to explore and heal the parts of your life that need attention, while creating a foundation for lasting positive change
