meet

Mara Aguayo, MSW

My name is Mara, and I am a neurodivergent-affirming, LGBTQIA+-affirming, trauma-informed therapist who is passionate about creating a safe, respectful, and empowering space for healing and self-expression. I believe that therapy is most effective when you feel seen, heard, and supported in showing up authentically. My
approach is client-centered and rooted in connection, visibility, and the understanding that each person brings their own strengths, identities, and lived experiences to the therapeutic process.

My journey in this field began with my undergraduate work at the University of Utah, where I earned bachelor’s degrees in Psychology, Sociology, and Criminology. I am currently pursuing my Master of Social Work degree through Walden University, with an
expected graduation in May 2026.

I have five years of experience in the mental health field across a variety of settings including residential treatment for substance use, day treatment with children and adolescents, a health psychology clinic supporting individuals with medical-related trauma and chronic or terminal illness, and outpatient work supporting clients of all ages to identify goals and build life skills that foster independence and autonomy. Through this work, I developed a deep passion for supporting individuals as they reclaim power
in their own lives and cultivate confidence in their internal wisdom.

I enjoy working with children, adolescents, adults, and older adults, and have experience supporting individuals navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, autism, trauma, and other mental health concerns.

Outside of the therapy room, I find creativity and calm through reading, crochet, and most things artistic. I also have a deep love for animals and am a proud snake mama to a ball python—and I absolutely adore frogs! Above all, I hope to meet you with compassion, curiosity, and respect as we explore your story, nurture your voice, and build a foundation of authenticity and empowerment
together.

Eli Abrahamson, MSW

Are you feeling disconnected from your partner? I work to support you in finding stability, connection, identity, and security in yourself and your relationships. I combine a non-judgmental, humanistic framework with Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy and other evidence-informed interventions to empower you to reach your goals.

My journey started with recognizing my love for activism, connection, community and organizing with my peers in the LGBTQ+ community. This expanded and ultimately led me to obtaining my Bachelor’s in Social Work. Since then, I have worked in crisis response for sexual assault survivors and high acuity residential treatment. Upon starting my Master’s in Social Work, I cemented my love for working with couples healing from conflict,  betrayal-trauma , disconnection, and grief. Additionally, I enjoy working with individuals facing life transitions, anxiety, anger management, depression, grief and identity.

I am honored to get to know you and to walk alongside you as you work toward deeper connection, clarity, and change.
