Group Therapy

Group therapy harnesses the power of shared experiences, mutual support, community and diverse perspectives to promote emotional healing and personal growth. Grief needs to be witnessed and having others who understand and have been through similar experiences can offer healing that other strategies cannot. Group Therapy offers a dynamic and holistic approach to mental health care, addressing both individual and interpersonal aspects of well-being.

Our groups are:

  • Either in person in our SLC office or virtual
  • Reduced cost or free
  • Run by fully licensed therapists or therapist interns

    Service

    Mindful Movement

    Mindful movement sessions help to create space for our mind, body, and soul to create deeper self-connection and meaning making.

    The intention and benefit of these sessions is to:

    • Incorporate nature and movement for deeper healing and processing
    • Use of somatic experiencing to heal attachment wounds and promote inner child healing 
    • Become your own internal healer and develop improved methods of sitting with emotions

    • Healing attachment wounds

    A goal with mindful movement is to have more connection with our bodies to identify and to recognize our activation and learn skills that will help deactivate and re-regulate our nervous system. We believe this is a great accent to traditional therapy sessions and therapy services.
