Individual Therapy

Therapy is a process of change. Our therapists specialize in several areas including: anxiety, depression, trauma, adult ADHD, grief, chronic and terminal medical illnesses, maternal mental health, spiritual journeys, self worth, and life transitions. We also offer help with psychedelic enhanced therapy (Ketamine) through the supervision of a licensed and trained professional. We advocate a holistic approach which means creating balance in our environment, mind-body connection, and physical engagement. We find clients feel more engaged in emotional wellbeing using this approach. Our therapists are trained in a variety of techniques including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance Commitment Therapy, Gottman Method, and more. Currently our therapists work with adults and young adults. We have some availability for older teens. We are LGBTQIA+, Sex Positive Affirming and Trauma-Informed. Our team is passionate about helping you clarify your goals and identifying the steps that will help you reach them. We pride ourselves on finding the balance between creating a safe, supportive space and helping you to challenge yourself and BRAVE CHANGE FROM WITHIN. We will accept you where you are at, without judgment and ensure you feel heard and seen. We hope to give you strategies and feedback and make therapy an active and engaging process.

Couples Therapy

These sessions focus on strengthening relationships and individuals. We want to create a space where individuals within a couple dynamic can feel empowered and strengthened in their self worth and journey. This is ideal for all types of couples and relationships in all different stages and seasons in life. Many of our therapists also have experience working with friendship dynamics, working business partner relationships, various family relationships and more. We provide an open and comfortable space to explore communication, intimacy, parenting, boundaries, adaptive co-dependence, and trauma. We have therapists who are Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists and many of our individual therapists have experience with couples/relationship counseling. Some of our therapists offer Gottman Method, Emotionally Focused Therapy for couples, Internal Family Systems Therapy and more. We are LGBTQIA+, Sex Positive Affirming and Trauma-Informed. If there is a relationship in your life that you desire increased connection with, we can help.

Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy

Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) is psycholytic guided therapy with a specially trained Psychedelic Psychotherapist while receiving a ketamine injection from a medical doctor. Both the medical provider and therapist have extensive knowledge in the use of medicine based psychotherapy. This type of treatment has been proven to decrease the symptoms of treatment resistant depression, anxiety and some areas of chronic pain, substance use disorders, and end of life examination. Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy with a trained therapist increases the effectiveness of ketamine by opening spaces to allow processing of trauma and by increasing emotional tolerance around distress. The use of ketamine in a safe and comfortable space with the combination of a medical provider and a trained therapist allows both your mind and body to relax and work through distressing life stressors, past trauma and to engage your own internal healer.

Life Tree Psychiatry

Therapy Transformed has been partnering with Life Tree Psychiatry for 6 years to provide a psychiatric and medication management resource for our clients. Currently all Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy sessions are completed with the partnership of Life Tree Psychiatry's trained medical staff. Please reach out if you would like to learn more.

Ketamine Trainings with JournEase

We are so excited to announce our partnership with JournEase to provide professional training events focused on Ketamine Assisted Therapy. These trainings are designed to help industry professionals gain knowledge and understanding of ethical practices in administering ketamine and integration therapy. Continuing Education credits are available for some of these training events. See our Continuing Education page for policies.

Frequently Asked Questions

How Long is a Session? And how often do I need to see my therapist?

Sessions typically go for 50-60 minutes. In some cases we will offer shorter or longer sessions depending on your needs and the focus of your session.
Frequency of sessions is typically once per week but this can be adjusted also
depending on your needs. However, if you feel that meeting once per week is not enough or you desire more wrap around services, we can give you some referrals for providers that offer these types of services.

What is Telehealth?

Telehealth is a HIPAA compliant video chat feature. Our telehealth service is furnished through our records system and you will be able to set up a client portal that will give you access to the telehealth feature. These sessions are never recorded and follow all HIPAA compliance guidelines. If for some reason the telehealth service is not working or you are not able to have privacy, we can also conduct sessions over the phone though this is not ideal.

How much do sessions cost? Do you take my insurance?

Making therapy affordable is a top priority at Therapy Transformed. Before getting started with your therapist, we will do our best to verify insurance benefits (if needed) and discuss payment responsibility with you. We are in network with a variety of insurance companies and work as out of network providers as well.
Please know that each therapist may be credentialed with a different group of insurance companies or may not be credentialed at all and will only accept self pay options. You can see a list of each therapist’s payment options under their bio on the About page. We are happy to answer any billing related questions through phone or email.

For Self Pay Clients:
You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.
• You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.
• Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.
• If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.
• Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises. - Section 2799B-6 of the Public Health Service Act

While we do not offer free consultations, we do work to get you in touch with a therapist as quickly as possible. We understand that finding a therapist can take time and effort on your part. Our About page lists all of our therapists, their bio, education, and specialty to help you get to know them before the first appointment.

What if I feel like my therapist is not a good fit for me?
