McKell Barrett, MSW

Hello! I’m McKell. I was born and raised in Utah, and got my undergrad in Psychology from Portland State University. Portland was the place where I cultivated a deep passion for yoga, cooking, and the outdoors. My Masters of Social Work was completed at the University of Denver. I have worked with people for the past 12 years in multiple settings including academia, home, medical hospitals, and outpatient clinics. I have experience with the age range of infant to adult, and enjoy getting to know and understand the development and intricacies of others.

I believe that you are your own expert, and I am honored to be part of your journey with a human centered strengths based approach. I want to create a safe space for you to feel comfortable talking about challenges and life transitions as you grow into your own healer. I use reflective and thoughtful engagement with clients and am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).

Annie Mason, CMHC

Hello! Welcome to Therapy Transformed! My name is Annie. I grew up in Utah, working on the family fruit farm and surrounded by loads of cousins. I enjoy the warm Utah summers doing yard work, watching baseball and being on the water.

I have been a therapist for approximately 17 years, mainly working in the juvenile justice system as well as a school setting. Most of my experience is with school aged children and adults, but I enjoy working with children and adults of all ages!

My current focus is primarily on anxiety, depression, life transitions and stressors. I use a humanistic and holistic approach by incorporating skills and approaches from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), narrative therapy and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT). I am a trauma informed therapist and LGBTQIA+ affirming and safe.

I’m looking forward to meeting you and walking through this time of life together. We will start where you are and move forward at a healthy pace, processing events and learning new skills. I’m excited and grateful for the opportunity to be a part of your journey.

Kelly Page, CMHC

Hi there, my name is Kelly and my main priority as a therapist is to create an open and comfortable space for clients in order to facilitate exploration and change. I know that even taking that first step towards self-improvement and healing can be really difficult and I am especially conscientious about validating that in a client’s journey. I use strength-based, egalitarian, and person-centered approaches toward my work with clients and I especially enjoy working on helping folks understand negative thought patterns that influence deeply held and sometimes unconscious core beliefs about themselves. My belief is that all of us humans are born with this supercomputer of a brain inside us but no user’s manual! Therapy can provide helpful tools and strategies to gain some understanding and insight into that supercomputer.

I took a meandering path to becoming a therapist, having worked as a bike tour guide, a riverboat captain, and an English teacher in Peru, Spain, and Nicaragua before moving to Utah and earning my master’s degree in counseling. I enjoy travelling above all else and have always valued the unexpected knowledge of self and others that can be gained when we put ourselves in unfamiliar and challenging situations. When I’m not travelling, I enjoy spending time with my wife, toddler and newborn, never sleeping, hiking, biking, and making new memories.

I am passionate about working with members of the LGBTQIA+ community, issues of self-acceptance, self-worth, positive identity formation, client empowerment, depression, anxiety, negative thought patterns, and working to find movement out of places in which we feel stuck.

Brianna Nuttall, LCSW, PMH-C

I strive to provide every client with a validating space as they gain the needed skills to empower themselves. I deeply honor the bravery it takes to reach out for help, and I am willing to assist clients with any struggle, regardless of how large or small it seems. I take an interpersonal, strength-based approach to therapy and believe strongly in the power of vulnerability and its ability to increase connection to self and others.

I possess a strong passion for pregnancy/postpartum issues. I also have experience with a variety of other concerns such as helping clients heal their relationships with their bodies and food, find peace following grief and loss, empower themselves through trauma informed work, overcome unhealthy interpersonal relationships, and learn to better manage anxiety and mood disorders.

I grew up in Idaho, and as part of my undergraduate studies, earned a Minor of Music and play the piano and flute. I also believe in the therapeutic benefit of animals and value spending time with my cat Scooter and my corgi Wheeler. In my spare time, I love doing yoga, cross stitching, rafting, mountain biking, hiking, gardening, and traveling with my husband.

I want to get to know you and hear your story. I want you to feel understood. You're the expert in your own life and I have tools and strategies that may help you. We grow and heal when we feel safe, validated and comfortable enough to challenge ourselves. I hope to empower you to have the courage to truly live your dreams and be the most authentic version of yourself. I love helping people build better systems of thinking and communicating. I want to help you find the barriers to your fulfillment and find ways to overcome them. I hope that when you leave counseling, you have more clarity, more direction, feel braver, and know you always have someone you can rely on.

I'm originally from New Jersey and spent time in Baltimore before finding my way to the Utah mountain life. I love the outdoors for hiking, camping, biking, cross country skiing or just finding new places to explore. The things I value most are time with my husband, family, friends and pets.
